ChallengeCurve’s Paul Nelis is attempting to break a world record at this year’s London Marathon in April !!
Not content with setting new PBs every year Paul is going one step further and challenging himself to attempt to break a Guinness World Record. Of course, there’s a catch coming… he’s attempting to set a new world record in fancy dress… in a monk’s costume !!
“I got the idea from last year’s marathon when I happened to finish next to a female runner who had just broken the record for fastest Tinkerbell. I thought it’d be fun to try and do something similar and to raise funds for charity. ”
Paul is busy training and recently completed the Reading Half-Marathon in a time of 1 hour 27 mins in full costume. In fact, this is an unofficial record as the previous time was 1 hour 34 mins – so keep it going Paul!
Paul is raising funds for ChallengeCurve’s chosen charity this year which is the National Autistic Society.
You can sponsor Paul by making a donation on his Virgin Giving Money page – click here
All donations are gratefully received and will help the tremendous people at the National Autistic Society continue their fantastic work at helping individuals with autism and their families.
